Mission of NGO

Revolution of Evolution

A non judging/ non biased place for help and support. Whether it be food boxes, the daily meals or just help to get back on your feet - There's a whole community there for support.
Working together with "What kids need Moncton".

History of NGO

Founded by Charles Burrell, they work quite closely with "what kids need Moncton" which is founded by Amanda Pooley.
Feed the Community began in the summer of 2015 and has continued since. What Kids Need and The Humanity Project work together and collaborate for the up-keep of everything. It began when the soup kitchens closed down for a 2 week period and they decided to continue because the food banks and soup kitchens don't do something every day and are sometimes inaccessible. They feed about 600-1000 people a week. The Humanity Project itself began in 2014 and has successfully became a vital part of the greater Moncton area.
They have sponsored families and helped to keep people with a roof over their head. In the beginning it was only backpacks for homeless people, until Charles saw the need for support of the working poor and the elderly. Since then, they have done their best to help as much as possible within the greater Moncton community.

Overview (Details: who, what, when, how, why)

Founded by Charles Burrell, run by your own community and volunteers, it's a caring place to have a warm meal and talk with fellow people. It kicked off in 2014 and has done many things for the community including giving out backpacks to homeless people and doing food boxes for struggling families. It was supported by many different people and families and they truly helped getting it off the ground and contributed in the success of this organization.

Why did we choose this organization?

We choose this organization because we have had a lot of personal experience with the people and we thought it might be nice to do this organization because it's so helpful in the community and deserves to be recognized as such. Even though they are a "newer" organization, they have done just as much for the community than other similar organizations, maybe more.
